Beyond the iconic value of a bunch of people in a line labeled “Dark Souls” this represents a big deal in video games, out today. Not a big deal in the mainstream, ads for this game show up on a 7-11 cup, “Transformers movie” kind of way, but in the gamer’s game, difficult but rewarding if you stick with it, “Terrence Malick” sort of way.
